Sizing Your Dog
Dog apparel comes in a very limited size range and there is a significant
difference between sizes of apparel. Because of the limit in sizing, the
measurements listed will fit the range listed. You may not receive a perfect
fit for your dog because of limited sizing available for dogs. The item may
be larger or smaller fitting on your dog depending where on the size range
they fall.
Please note that each manufacture has different sizes. Just because you normally
order a Small for your dog, it is very likely you may not order a Small with Idawg.
It is recommended you fit the chest first and length second, as many of the
fabrics have no stretch. If the girth is too small, the jacket will NOT fit.

Measuring Your Dog
• Measure your pet from base of the neck to base of the tail. The length
number in the size chart will help you evaluate where the jacket will end
on your dog. Again, because dogs come in all shapes and sizes, fit will
vary greatly for each dog.
• Measure the chest at its widest point, which is usually an inch or so
behind the front legs. This measurement is most important for jackets and
items with no fabric stretch. The length of the jacket can be shorter
(approximately 6 inches) or slightly longer (no more than 1 inch) however the
chest measurement must be an exact fit.
Sizing Tip
If you're unsure about what size to order, enter your dog’s measurements
in the comments section of your order, along with the breed/s of your dog.
If it's a mixed breed let us know what type of dog it most closely resembles
i.e.: Husky, Rottweiler, Labrador, Boxer, etc. We should be able to
determine your dog’s size. You can also email us at customerservice@idawgclothing.com
or call for a more immediate response.
